      @@georgewilliams7078 It is most definitely not commercial fishing as they are fishing 1 hook. The commercial guys mostly use long line with hundreds of hooks. I don't know why you think this is commercial fishing. Maybe cause the electric reel? Well if you have a better way to reel up 1500'+ of line attached to a 8lbs weight without an electric motor I would love to hear it.

    • @georgewilliams7078
      @georgewilliams7078 2 роки тому

      Any time you use electric reel and a harpoon it's not sport fishing . What's your problem can't you reel up 1500 feet of line without your electric reel this .this where we separate the men from the boys .or don't fish on the bottom I have rod and reeled 19 swordfish that were baited on surface and while fighting some of them they ran out 300 yards a few time .I am sure during the fight I reeled in more then 1500 feet to catch them. What else you want to know

    You attack the fish -> you are trying to catch it and kill it. Should be logical why it tried to attack you, it'd say you should expect to be attack when you try to kill it. So you can forget all about self defense, when you are the attacker. I don't mind fishing but cutting a living being like you did while its still alive, is nothing less but cruelty and torture and completely unacceptable - it has nothing to do with fishing. There's no reason to put a fish through so much pain by cutting it up multiple times as deep as you did, just because you want some fun.
